Scientific Description:

Annual, 10−40 cm, stem erect, softly patent-hairy, hairs adpressed above. Leaves c. 4 × 1 cm, lanceolate, obtuse, with patent straight hairs. Inflorescence lax, ebracteate; pedicels 3−5 mm in fruit (seldom longer), patent or recurved. Calyx to 5 mm in fruit, divided to c. ½, half open, with many, often deflexed, hooked hairs at base, deciduous. Limb of corolla to 4 mm diam., saucer-shaped, bright blue. Nutlets 1.5 × 1 mm, brown, without rim; attachment scar usually filled with spongy tissue.

 

Flowering time: April−July.

Habitat: Dry places, s.l.−1400 m.

Public Description:

Myosotis ramosissima, common name “Early Forget-me-no”, is distributed in the most of Europe, Türkiye, N.W. Africa, C. & S. Russia, Caucasia, N.W. Iran. It is an annual plant with bright blue flowers, hairy and weak structure. It can be seen especially in arid areas in flower between April and July.
