Scientific Description:
Differs from Veronica cinerea Raf. mainly by essentially different indumentum: hairs simple, eglandular, curved, 0.1–0.3 × 0.02 mm, ± dense but not interwoven; stems more strongly decumbent to repent; leaves ± greyish; racemes 1−3, with or without glandular hairs.

Hairs curved upwards.
Flowering time: May−July.
Habitat: Open coniferous forests, alpine cushion steppes, scree, 1200−3400 m.

Public Description:
Veronica thymoides subsp. pseudocinerea, is an andemic species to Türkiye and known as “kızıldağ mavişi” in Turkish. It is a perennial herb with dark blue to purplish-blue flowers, and grows up to 20 cm in length. It blooms between May and July and is found in open coniferous forests, alpine cushion steppes, and scree.
