Scientific Description:
Differs from Sedum acre L. in its (in Türkiye) more robust habit (stems up to 20 cm long, c. 3 mm wide) and in its conical to oblong-linear, subacute leaves which become coriaceous and black-tipped. Sepals c. 4 mm, usually ± tapering towards the apex.
Flowering time: June−July.
Habitat: Rocky places on limestone, etc, s.l.−1300 m.

Public Description:
Sedum urvillei, known as “çıbanotu” in Turkish, is native to Türkiye, eastern Central Europe, the Balkan Peninsula, Romania, Austria and the Eastern Mediterranean. It is an everygreen perennial herb with yellow flowers, up to 20 cm in length. It blooms between June and July and is found in rocky places on limestone.
