Scientific Description:
Differs from Polygala major Jacq. in its less robust growth, its inner sepals 7−10 × 3−5 mm, and the capsule gradually tapered into a stalk which is shorter than the capsule. Flowers pale purplish-pink.
Flowering time: May−August.
Habitat: Slopes, 30−2500 m.

Public Description:
Polygala anatolica, common name “yılan yoncası” (in Turkish), is a perennial fowering plant, and native to Türkiye, Greece, Caucasus and Northern Iran. A plant with pale purplish pink flowers and short and can be seen in the slopes up to 2500 m from above sea level in May and August.
