Scientific Description:
Annual herb. Stems ascending to erect, 8−30 cm. Basal leaves obovate-spathulate, crenate-dentate to dentate. Stem leaves ± strict, oblong-lanceolate, auriculate, entire to dentate. Petals white, 3−4.5 mm. Axis of fruiting inflorescence flexuous. Pedicels equalling or exceeding the calyces, incrassate in fruit. Siliquae ± terete, erect-spreading, 30−45 × 1−1.5 mm.
Flowering time: May.
Habitat: Stony places, 800−2400 m.

Public Description:
Arabis nova, commonly known as “tıfıl kazteresi” in Turkish, is native to Europe, Türkiye, Cyprus, the Caucasus, Iran, West Syria, Turkestan and Afghanistan. It is an annual herb with white flowers, and grows up to 30 cm in length. It blooms in May and is found in stony places.
