Public Description:

Muscari is a genus of bulbous perennial herbs known as “grape hyacinth”, and is native to the Mediterranean, the eastern Aegean region, Türkiye and Morocco. There are approximately 43 species in the world and 30 species (30 taxa) in Türkiye. The name “Muscari” derives from the Latin word ‘muschos’ or ‘musk’, which refers to the fact that the flower has a strong scent. The bell-shaped flowers in purple, blue, yellow, green, white or blackish colors are arranged in clusters. It is widely grown as indoor and outdoor plant.
