Scientific Description:
Perennial or biennial (monocarpic) herbs. Inflorescence simple or branched. Calyx without appendages between lobes. Corolla divided nearly to base, lobes linear-lanceolate, purple, violet or blue. Stigmas (2−)3(−4). Capsule cylindrical, ovoid, or globose, opening by (2−)3 median to ± apical pores.

Public Description:
Asyneuma, is a genus of perennial or biennial herbs, commonly known as “harebell”, and is native to North Africa and Eurasia. There are approximately 30 species in the world and 20 species (35 taxa) in Türkiye. Many species are endemic to Türkiye. There is no known hazards of this genus. The root contains a high proportion of latex, which can be used to make rubber.
