Scientific Description:

Herbs, usually woody at the base. Leaves trifoliate; stipules small, linear-lanceolate. Inflorescence umbellate or racemose, or flowers solitary in the upper leaf axils. Calyx bilabiate, the upper lip bifid, the lower tridentate. Corolla with an obtuse keel. Stamens monadelphous. Fruit a dehiscent, laterally compressed, oblong or linear legume, sometimes torulose.

Public Description:

Argyrolobium, is a genus of perennial herbs, known as “collik” in Turkish, and is native to North Africa, Türkiye, the Caucasus, North Iran and West Syria. There are approximately 97 species in the world and 3 species (3 taxa) in Türkiye.
