Scientific Description:
Herbs or shrubs to 2.5 m. Leaves imparipinnate or the upper trifoliate and the lower simple; stipules small. Inflorescences umbellate, (2−)4−20-flowered. Calyx with upper two teeth fused. Flowers yellow, white, pink, red or lavender; corolla keel beaked. Stamens diadelphous. Fruit a straight to strongly arcuate lomentum.

Public Description:
Coronilla is a genus of herbs or shrubs known as “false crown-vetch”, is native to Europe and North Africa. There are approximately 10 species in the world and 3 species (3 taxa) in Türkiye. Plant grows up to 50 cm. Flowers are yellow, white, pink, red or lavender. Coronilla species are used as an important food plants by the larvae of some butterfly and moth species.
