Scientific Description:
Perennials, (10−)20−50 cm, the stems decumbent to erect, not rooting at the nodes. Leaflets 0.5−3.0 cm, elliptical to obovate-cuneate, the apex rounded or retuse, green. Inflorescence 1.5−2.5 cm wide, globose to ovoid, 30−50-flowered without an involucre. Calyx inflated in fruit, villous or glabrous. Flowers pink, 10−14 mm.

Flowering time: May−July.
Habitat: Open ground, clearings in forests, etc., s.l.−1800 m.

Public Description:
Trifolium physodes var. physodes, known as “meşe üçgülü” in Turkish, is distributed in South Europe, Türkiye, Crete, Cyprus, and the Caucasus. It is a perennial herb with pink flowers, and grows up to 50 cm in length. It blooms between May and July and is found in open ground, clearings in forests.
